A critical component in any detection system is the ability to handle gates. To meet this challenge, we have created SmartENTRY.

There are two principle ways to get past a perimeter gate: You open the gate with a key, cut the chain, etc. SmartENTRY detects this action by means of a sensor mounted in the "pivot post" of the gate. There it monitors the position of the gate's bar. The gate is sensitive enough to detect a 12-ft gate being opened as little as 24 inches, but will not alarm on wind-induced movement. SmartENTRY provides a seamless continuation of the vehicle detection around your perimeter.
